Q: I used two Phthalo Blue, Ultramarine and white to paint the pitcher in my still life and did not match my needed color. What do I do?

A: You can modify your blues with complimentary colors to shift them to your desired. If you have trouble achieving certain colors as you progress in oil color painting, you might look at expanding your oil colors. Look at the Gamblin web site expanded palettes at:
