"How Can I Learn to Draw"
I have been a
teacher of drawing and painting for many years and since 2001
online. I kept having prospective students ask to just study
drawing and sketching. So here is my answer to those students.

This simple, economical starter course consists of the
following.
-
A great art textbook to learn drawing which covers the whole range
of drawing tools, techniques. It has step by step demonstrations
and exercises.
-
A Lesson Assignment on your Home Index page on
the school website.
-
A pad of art paper for your serious sketches
for submission for my critique
(9" X 12", 24 sheets).
-
A pencil kit (shown below).
-
A bound Sketchbook (artists
carry these with them for sketching wherever they are as a practice
tool) 160 pages.
-
My hand drawn critique, posted on the school
website for your viewing 24/7/365.
-
A Digital Camera to take
pictures of your Lesson Assignment Artwork to send to me for a
Critique.
-
Your Home Index Page will
always have the option to order additional Critiques of your
work after completion of the Starter Course for $50 per image
submitted ( another still life or figure or face drawing, a
landscape drawing, etc. that you may want the help of a
professional artists (me) in the future.
Costs and enrollment by Credit Card buttons are on the bottom of
this page.
Some students could use this as their
entry point to a fuller education in becoming an artist or improving
their capabilities. Start here with a basic grounding in drawing and
form and then see if you want to go further later into composition,
color theory, perspective and the other skills and steps in picture
making.
See a sample
critique (though this is a color /oil critique) which shows the
level of quality of the critique you will get of your work at:
http://www.interactiveartschool.com/lesson1SampleLesson.HTML
(I will be
putting a pure drawing critique sample soon as I have my first student
for this new lower cost, highly featured course who gives me permission to show their
critique).
Once you have registered and completed the enrollment questionnaire,
your textbook, digital camera (unless you have one and enroll at the
lower enrollment fee below for those who already have their own
digital camera), personal access code to you Personal Home Page on
the school web site, and your materials kit will be mailed to you.
We pay all shipping costs to you. Shipping costs are included in
enrollment fees below. Allow up to 15 days for your drawing lessons
package to arrive. See school policies at
